What happened to good BBQ?

I once lived on the Oregon coast, but would visit Texas and Florida to see relatives a few times a year. One of my absolute favorite things to eat was a well cooked brisket. Tender, juicy and just firm enough to stay in about 1 inch chunks. Since returning to Oregon, after living in Alaska for the past few years, I came back in search of good BBQ here in Oregon. I have not been successful in my search.  Does anyone know of a good place here in Oregon?
